Hello,

I would like to take this opportunity to commend the obstetrics department and the postnatal care department at the U Apolináře maternity hospital. On March 21, 2023, you helped us bring our baby boy into the world. I would especially like to thank midwife Alena Koníčková, who gave me more than 100% of her attention throughout the entire process and made me feel completely safe and at ease. Her compassionate approach made the entire birth much easier for me. There was even a moment when she took my hand when she saw how much pain I was in and my boyfriend couldn’t be with me yet. At that moment, I felt like my best friend was there with me, someone who understood me, not just an employee. It was a huge support for me. I would also like to express my gratitude to Dr. Tereza Pětrošová, who was very kind and gentle throughout, explaining everything to me in detail. She was even willing to stay at work longer for me. When you are at your most vulnerable, you really appreciate these qualities. Both of them had a fantastic attitude throughout, which made me feel really good. They are women in the right place, and their work makes sense. If I get pregnant again, your maternity hospital is the obvious choice for me!

 

In the postnatal ward, I would like to express my gratitude especially to midwives Štěpánka Říhová and Zuzana Baková. Štěpánka took excellent care of me throughout my stay and helped me with a health issue that arose during childbirth. I am very grateful to Zuzana for taking care of my son. I cannot say a single bad word about them. I would like to thank all these women for everything they did for me and my son, and I applaud their humane approach!
