Assisted Reproduction Center
The Assisted Reproduction Center at the Clinic of Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Neonatology of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and the General Teaching Hospital in Prague is the largest state-run assisted reproduction center in the Czech Republic.
Thanks to the facilities at the General University Hospital, we are able to care for a full spectrum of patients, including the most serious cases. Communication with patients is a high priority for us. We view the therapeutic process as a mutual collaboration between us and the patient. Given the clinic’s professional background, we offer comprehensive care for patients with a range of gynecological (endometriosis, fibroids, oncological diseases) and general illnesses.
What services do we offer?
The assisted reproduction center offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services:
- insemination with partner or donor sperm
- in vitro fertilization (IVF/ICSI)
- social freezing (freezing eggs for later use)
- preimplantation genetic testing of embryos (PGT-A, PGT-M, PGT-SR)
- freezing of eggs, sperm, and embryos prior to cancer treatment
- above-standard methods (sperm preselection using CAO chips, PICSI, assisted hatching, embryoglue, extended cultivation, continuous embryo monitoring).
