The Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Clinic provides modern, highly specialized outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with gynecological conditions. It is an integral part of comprehensive gynecological care for women at all stages of life.

How is the examination conducted?
- Taking medical history.
- Comprehensive examination of the whole body to assess development.
- Examination of the vagina and cervix using a vaginoscope with possible sample collection (the vaginoscope is a thin metal tube that allows a painless examination of the vagina without damaging the hymen).
- Palpation examination through the rectum.
- Ultrasound examination with a full bladder.
What should you bring with you?
- Health insurance card
- Referral from the attending pediatrician, providing information about the child’s medical history and results of previous examinations
- Completed menstrual calendar in written form
- If you have a respiratory illness and a gynecological examination is necessary, do not forget to wear a mask or respirator to protect other patients and healthcare staff.
