Length of hospital stay after childbirth
We would like to prepare you for the fact that, in line with modern approaches to maternity care, the length of hospital stay after childbirth is being shortened.
If there are no complications for the mother or the newborn, both are discharged 48 hours after a spontaneous birth, or 48–72 hours (2nd–3rd day) after a cesarean section.
This trend is driven by the aim to increase safety (reducing the risk of infections in the hospital environment) and to facilitate a quicker return to the home environment.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the staff at our clinic.
We thank you for your trust and look forward to being part of your happy journey!
