The center (one of the largest in the country) concentrates the most complicated cases from all over the Czech Republic. It deals with highly specialized diagnostics – expert ultrasounds are provided by doctors with European certifications, within the same hospital (VFN) using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Staff cooperation with the Department of Minimally Invasive Surgery ensures continuity in surgical treatment, where multidisciplinary cooperation with specialists from other fields whose specialization involves deep endometriosis (DE) is ensured – laparoscopically trained proctosurgeons and urologists.

Cooperation with the Assisted Reproduction Center is also ensured for patients whose main problem is infertility.

Due to the complexity of the diagnosis, the Endometriosis Center has a nutrition therapist who participates in the care of patients who have undergone resection procedures on the digestive tract, as well as a cooperating physiotherapist.
