Although the birth did not go as we had hoped, as it had to be induced and ultimately ended with a C-section, I am convinced that it went as well as it possibly could have under the circumstances. During difficult moments, my partner and I especially appreciated the professional approach and sensitive and clear communication of the doctors and midwives, thanks to which we always knew what was happening and why.<\/p>\n<p>After the birth, I really appreciated the care given to me and Anna in the postnatal ward. In the first few days, which were full of uncertainty, fatigue, and heightened emotions, I especially appreciated being able to ask anything without feeling stupid and also being able to ask for help whenever I needed it.
