\r\n \r\n When is the time to leave the hospital? <\/a>\r\n \r\n Would you like a higher standard postnatal room? <\/a>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

\r\n Thera are 3 postnatal wards in Apolinar. These are located on the 1. floor of our hospital named A, B, C. <\/h3>\r\n
\r\n

2 hours post-delivery you will be transferred to one of above. The care of the baby is provided by neonatal nurses, care of the mother is taken by midwives. You can ask them for help at any time. We are supporting rooming-in \u2013 therefore your baby remains with you from the very first time.<\/p>\n<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\n\n \r\n \r\n

POSTNATAL PERIOD<\/h3>\r\n
\r\n

This period starts straight after delivering of you baby and lasts for six weeks. During this time is your body getting into previous shape prior the pregnancy and the delivery. All the possible wounds are healing up, the uterus is contracting, you are passing lochias, lactation takes place and you are bonding to your baby.<\/p>\n

  • It is necessary to maintain great hygiene during the early postpartum period. Take a shower even 10 \u2013 15 times a day. Do not forget to maintain good fluid intake.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Postpartum period is a challenging time full of hormonal changes. Every woman is vulnerable and extremely sensitive during this stage. This is completely normal. Try to stay as calm as possible, relax, enjoy the time together with your baby and family. And do not forget \u2013 do not worry to ask for help<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section>\r\n \n\n \r\n \r\n

    When is the time to leave the hospital?<\/h3>\r\n
    \r\n

    Standard length of stay in our hospital following non-complicated vaginal delivery and great adaptation of the baby is 2 \u2013 3 days<\/strong>. In case of caesarean section this is 3 \u2013 4 days.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    In case you and your baby are in a good condition we are happy for an early discharge from the hospital. Always discuss your wishes with the specialists (obstetrician, peadiatrician) \u2013 we are open minded.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section>\r\n \n\n \r\n \r\n

    Would you like a higher standard postnatal room?<\/h3>\r\n

    Postnatal Ward A<\/strong> is a ward with higher standard rooms equipped by own bath and WC, which you have to pay for.<\/p>\n

    • There re 5 two bed rooms (2 mothers in the room) \u2013 1300 CZK per night<\/li>\n
    • 1 single room \u2013 2000 per night<\/li>\n
    • 1 family suite \u2013 400 per night<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n2 single bed rooms 2000 CZK per night<\/p>\n

      Postnatal Ward C<\/strong>
